Transcription: A growing fraternity of forestry provinces are using horse-drawn selective logging practices for reasons which go far beyond nostalgia. Horse loggers such as these from Ontario are not only involved in extracting valuable timber, they are also involved in selective thinning for pest control and to protect sensitive ecological areas.
